Synapse Studio launches Design-AI plugin and takes $11M to scale studio-focused AI tools

Synapse Studio introduced Design-AI, a plugin that helps designers brainstorm component variants, generate responsive asset sets, and propose layout adaptations for different breakpoints. The plugin integrates directly into popular design tools and offers edit-in-place capabilities to keep design intent intact.

An $11 million fundraise will be used to secure curated, licensed datasets for creative generation, build enterprise governance and watermarking, and scale compute for collaborative inference. The company emphasized model transparency and the ability for teams to lock certain creative assets from generative changes.

Design teams reported faster iteration on landing page variants and style exploration, while maintaining a clear audit trail of human edits. Synapse plans team-centric features like shared brand libraries for the model and approval workflows for generated content before it enters production.
