SynthLens debuts real-time video-to-3D pipeline and raises $20M bridge round

SynthLens’s new pipeline ingests multi-frame video and outputs PBR-textured meshes suitable for AR previews and game-ready imports. The company focuses on practicality: a mobile capture app for creators, cloud steps for texture baking, and optimized exporters for Unity and Unreal.

The $20 million bridge was provided by Foundry Collective and Blue Harbor Ventures to expand infrastructure and partner integrations. SynthLens intends to deploy regional capture clusters and add support for photogrammetry-grade 3D reconstruction in the next quarter.

Early pilots with an AR furniture retailer and two indie game studios showed promising reductions in asset production time. The company stressed a hybrid model allowing creators to process confidential footage locally and then optionally run cloud refinement for higher fidelity.
