Tutorly raises $22M to launch SkillSpark, a personalized AI tutor platform for bootcamps

SkillSpark provides adaptive lesson plans, automated feedback on projects, and mentor-matching that factors in pacing and learner goals. Tutorly built a 'progress map' visualization that coaches use to monitor cohort health and intervene with targeted mini-lessons or pair-programming sessions.

The $22 million round, led by EdGrowth Partners, will scale integrations with LMS providers and expand content partnerships with accredited bootcamps. Tutorly said part of the funds will go to developing assessment validation and proctoring features to maintain certification integrity.

Pilot programs showed accelerated completion times and improved job-placement rates among participants. Tutorly plans to open an enterprise tier for large training organizations with analytics dashboards and API access for placement partners.
