Typeface.ai raises $18M to commercialize type-aware generative text for brands

Typeface.ai, a startup that combines NLP with typographic intelligence, announced an $18 million Series A led by Lattice Capital and released BrandMorph, a generator that produces brand-aligned copy and exports to design files ready for typography refinement.

BrandMorph integrates brand voice profiles and typographic rules, so outputs respect line lengths, hierarchy, and legibility constraints for both print and digital. The platform exports to Figma and Adobe formats with annotated style tokens.

Typeface.ai says the funding will be used to expand its dataset of branded writing, improve controllability, and build enterprise features like team governance and creative rights tracking. The startup emphasizes its attention controls to prevent hallucinations in legal or regulated content.

Marketers at early adopter companies reported faster campaign drafts with fewer rounds of revision, particularly in A/B testing where quick variants and typographic consistency are essential for converting visitors.
