Typewise raises $25M to scale privacy-first AI keyboard for enterprise

Typewise, known for its privacy-oriented keyboard and text prediction tech, announced a $25 million funding round to grow its enterprise offering. The company focuses on on-device models that avoid routing sensitive typing data to cloud servers, a key selling point for regulated sectors such as healthcare and finance.

With the new capital, Typewise will enlarge its R&D team to improve multilingual on-device models, better domain-specific completions, and customizable enterprise policies for vocabulary and data retention. The startup is also building an MDM-friendly deployment pipeline to simplify rollouts to corporate fleets.

Typewise positions its product as a secure productivity layer for distributed teams, offering APIs to integrate typing analytics and accessibility features while maintaining local data guarantees. The funding brings them closer to broader OEM partnerships for preinstalled keyboards on corporate devices.
