TypoSense raises $6M seed to launch type-aware accessibility auditing tool

The seed round was led by Empathy Ventures and will support product development, particularly integrations with popular design and frontend tooling. TypoSense aims to help design teams catch subtle typographic accessibility issues often missed by color-contrast-only scanners.

The platform analyzes font metrics, line-lengths, token usage, and spacing, surfacing readability risks and recommending typographic fixes that preserve brand guidelines. It also generates developer-ready CSS suggestions and accessible component alternatives.

TypoSense includes a components library that maps accessible typographic scales to design tokens, making it easier for teams to adopt changes with minimal visual regressions. Early adopters report fewer content revision cycles and improved reading metrics in user research studies.
