Micro-feedback plays a big role: contextual progress bars, estimated completion times for background checks, and SMS nudges reduce anxiety around unknown waiting periods. The app also provides localized guidance for region-specific regulatory steps, with embedded help chat and community-sourced tips. These measures increased completion rates by lowering perceived friction and uncertainty.

A/B tests showed that reducing cognitive load early improves long-term retention: drivers who finished onboarding within 48 hours were significantly more active in their first month. The case demonstrates that high-friction compliance workflows benefit from milestone decomposition, explicit expectations, and empathetic communication.
