UX research platform DeepProbe raises $12M to launch passive user behavior recorder

DeepProbe, a platform for user research and analytics, announced a $12 million Series A led by Sequoia Capital with participation from several enterprise UX leaders. The funds will be used to scale infrastructure and extend privacy features for regulated industries.

DeepProbe's new product records micro-interactions—touch pressure, subtle cursor micro-movements, and timing patterns—to surface friction points in digital products. It includes automated summaries and heatmaps and can anonymize or mask sensitive fields before storage.

The company is marketing the recorder to product and research teams at consumer fintechs and healthcare providers. Early pilots reported faster insight cycles and a 30% reduction in user testing time by catching usability regressions earlier in the build process.
