UXPin adds 'Accessibility Auditor' AI that repairs contrast and ARIA issues in prototypes

UXPin introduced an AI-based Accessibility Auditor that scans interactive prototypes for WCAG failures, ARIA misuse, and keyboard navigation gaps. The auditor presents prioritized issues and offers suggested fixes, such as color swaps or ARIA attribute adjustments.

Designers can apply suggestions with a single click or tweak proposals in the prototype editor, and the system shows how changes impact accessibility metrics in real time. The auditor also generates a downloadable report for compliance documentation.

Teams appreciated the reduction in manual audits and the educational value of suggested fixes. Accessibility experts caution that automated repairs can't replace usability testing with people who use assistive technologies, and UXPin highlights that the tool is intended to complement, not replace, human testing.
