Vantage Robotics raises $60M and launches drone OS for automated site inspection

Vantage Robotics announced a $60 million Series B led by IndustrialGrowth Partners and rolled out VantageOS, an autonomous drone operating system focused on automated inspection tasks for utilities, solar farms, and bridges. The OS bundles path planning, sensor fusion, and compliance modules into a workflow-first product.

VantageOS includes a visual mission editor, anomaly detection models for cracks and corrosion, and integrations with GIS and asset management systems. The company emphasizes safe BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) operation achieved through redundant sensing and a certified safety monitor layer.

Proceeds will scale regulatory efforts, deploy more edge compute stacks, and grow enterprise field teams. Vantage has secured early contracts with two large utility providers and plans to expand via a managed services model.
