Vantage Robotics scores $60M to scale telepresence robots for enterprise UX testing

Vantage Robotics announced a $60 million round led by Horizon Partners to scale its telepresence units that enable remote participants to perform in-person usability tests and field studies. The funding will expand manufacturing and build out field ops in North America and Europe.
The robot is optimized for quick setup in retail and office environments and includes a modular sensor stack for eye-tracking, proximity measurement, and room mapping. Vantage bills the product as a way for distributed UX teams to observe natural interactions without shipping participants or relying on synthetic lab environments.
Customers said the system improved test recruitment and realism, particularly for retail flows where physical product handling matters. Vantage plans a subscription model combining hardware, managed logistics, and analytics dashboards for synthesis.
