VectorMind Raises $65M to Deliver Industry-Specific LLMs and Launches RetailGPT

VectorMind announced a $65 million Series B led by Atlas Partners to scale model training and enterprise offerings. Their new vertical model, RetailGPT, is tailored for merchandising planners, visual merchandisers, and customer support teams.

RetailGPT ingests product catalogs, seasonal guidelines, and store-level constraints to produce task-specific outputs—short product descriptions, planogram copy, or staff-facing handling scripts. VectorMind emphasized their approach includes policy layers and retrieval-augmented generation from private knowledge bases.

To address privacy concerns, VectorMind offers a hybrid deployment model where sensitive lookups occur on-prem or at the edge. Early pilot retailers reported time savings in copy generation and faster alignment between merchandising and design teams.
