Velox Robotics Debuts 6-Axis Micro-Manipulator and Raises $60M Series B
Tech · 4 min read
The micro-manipulator combines sub-micron positional accuracy with a compact form factor and a developer-facing SDK for high-frequency control loops. It includes force-torque sensing, adaptive motion planning, and a low-latency pipeline for camera-based visual feedback.
The Series B was led by Industrial Horizons with follow-on from existing backers. Funding will scale manufacturing, establish cleanroom production lines, and expand their software toolchain for integration into factory orchestration systems.
Early adopters in MEMS packaging and microfluidic device assembly have replaced bulky benchtop rigs in favor of Velox's smaller footprint for inline production. The company is also offering an “automation-as-a-service” pilot for labs that want to digitize workflows without capital equipment purchases.
