VerityAI raises $18M seed and launches privacy-first synthetic data suite
AI · 3 min read
The seed funding was led by Northern Light Partners and will be used to refine VerityAIs differential privacy stack and expand its compliance tooling for health and finance customers. The startup says it has already run pilots with several healthcare AI teams to accelerate model training without exposing patient records.
VerityAI's product generates labeled synthetic datasets with configurable risk profiles and verifiable privacy guarantees. The suite includes an audit trail for synthetic generation, utility metrics for model training, and integrations with common ML tooling for easy pipeline adoption.
The company emphasizes explainability and governance: teams can tune the fidelity-privacy trade-offs and receive reports intended for auditors. By offering both API and on-prem deployment modes, VerityAI aims to serve organizations that need synthetic data without relinquishing control over sensitive sources.
