VerityAI secures $95M to commercialize synthetic data for autonomous vehicles
AI · 6 min read
VerityAI’s platform generates diverse, annotated driving scenarios with sensor suites that include LiDAR, Radar, and multi-modal cameras. Customers can specify environmental variations—weather, rare events, occlusions—and receive tailored datasets augmented with metadata for tracking and behavior prediction.
The startup also provides a validation harness that compares synthetic-trained models against curated real-world benchmarks and estimates performance lift for edge-case events. VerityAI stressed regulatory alignment, offering explainability reports to help OEMs meet safety documentation requirements.
The $95 million will expand cloud simulation capacity, improve photorealism fidelity, and pursue partnerships with Tier 1 suppliers and test-track facilities. Investors pointed to the economics of synthetic generation as a way to accelerate AV deployment timelines while improving safety coverage.
