Verve Labs debuts 'Persona AI' for UX research and secures $28M Series A

Verve Labs announced Persona AI, which synthesizes realistic user personas from aggregated research data, segmentation models, and optional customer-provided inputs. The platform can simulate interview responses, run exploratory conversation sessions, and generate behavior-driven personas that teams can test against prototypes.

Persona AI is designed to augment remote UX research workflows by enabling rapid iteration on user scenarios, reducing reliance on ad-hoc recruitment for early-stage testing. Verve stresses that generated personas are rooted in real data and include confidence indicators and sourcing metadata to avoid misleading generalizations.

To support the launch, Verve raised a $28 million Series A led by venture firms focused on developer and design tooling. The company will invest in recruitment partnerships, synthetic-to-real validation studies, and integrations with testing and analytics platforms to close the loop between simulated and real user data.
