VividFrame Launches Lightweight Design System Tailored for Mobile Gaming UIs
Design · 3 min read
VividFrame launched a lightweight design system created specifically for mobile games, with emphasis on performance, touch targets, adaptive HUDs and monetization interaction patterns. The kit includes vector-ready assets, optimized sprite sheets and a set of responsive rules for different screen and aspect ratios.
The system ships with code exports for Unity and Unreal UMG, along with a runtime that handles layout scaling to prevent pixel-perfect drift between design and runtime. VividFrame also catalogs common UI anti-patterns—like obstructive layouts—and suggests alternatives.
Game designers welcomed the focused approach that reduces friction translating art into engine-ready UI, but some UI artists noted the need for greater stylistic diversity in the initial asset set. VividFrame plans community-driven style packs to broaden options.
The company closed a $5 million seed to build integrations, provide template packs for major genres, and run workshops with mid-sized studios on adopting system-led design.
