VividMind raises $45M to scale on-device generative models for mobile UX

VividMind, a startup building low-latency, privacy-preserving generative models for mobile devices, announced a $45 million Series B led by Horizon Ventures today. The company says its models can synthesize UI mockups, images, and natural language outputs entirely on-device, reducing latency and removing the need for round trips to the cloud.
Executives told SatisfiedUser the funding will go to hiring for product engineering and expanding SDKs aimed at mobile app designers. VividMind also revealed plans for deeper integrations with Android OEM partners and a pilot program with a major consumer app to embed on-device prompt-based UI personalization.
Design teams see potential: VividMind's SDK includes a light creative editor that maps prompts to design tokens and exports production-ready assets. The startup hopes that by focusing on edge inference and small model footprints, it can tackle privacy and reliability concerns that have slowed broader adoption of generative AI in consumer apps.
