Privacy-first design is explicit: end-to-end encryption is baked into every group by default, and options like disappearing messages and disappearing media balance ephemeral communication with archival needs. Admin controls allow granular moderation (restrict who can send messages, edit group information), which scales to community use-cases without requiring complex role hierarchies.

Media management and storage are handled by adaptive compression and local caching policies to support weak-network scenarios. Design choices—preview thumbnails, in-line media play, and batch download prompts—reduce friction for users on limited data plans.
