Zenith Play secures $60M to launch cloud-native console for indie multiplay

Zenith Play announced the Zenith Cloud Console, a managed console service that provides game hosting, matchmaking, UGC moderation, and storefront tools tailored for indie and mid-sized studios. The offering includes a lightweight client runtime and SDKs for cross-platform deployment.
The company closed a $60 million Series B led by GameCap Ventures and a consortium of publisher partners. Funds will expand regional server footprints for latency-sensitive titles and build monetization features for creators, such as tip jars and limited-run in-game items.
Zenith Play's CEO says the console lowers the infrastructure bar for live services, enabling teams of 10-20 developers to ship persistent multiplayer experiences with minimal ops overhead. Several independent studios have signed up for launch window support and early access to monetization tooling.
