Zephyr Games launches EchoForge: a user-generated content engine with $50M backing

EchoForge provides in-game procedural generation tools, a marketplace API, and blockchain-free provenance tracking for creator royalties. Players can design assets using parametric controls and sell them through Zephyr’s curated marketplace, with revenue-sharing tools for teams and collaborators.

The $50 million round, led by Ember Capital, will be used to expand moderation systems, creator tooling, and studio partnerships to integrate EchoForge into live titles. Zephyr also plans to seed creator funds and run contests to kickstart asset ecosystems.

Developers praised EchoForge’s low-friction authoring and monetization pipeline, which reduces the barrier to community-driven economies. The platform emphasizes safe monetization with built-in IP checks and enforcement to prevent trademark or copyrighted asset sales.
