Zeplin adds automated accessibility fixes powered by on-device AI
Tech · 4 min read
Zeplin's new assistant runs accessibility audits locally within the desktop client and provides actionable fixes that can be previewed and applied in-place. Because inference runs on-device, teams can validate sensitive mockups without uploading drafts to cloud services.
Fix suggestions are presented with impact scores and code-ready snippets for engineers, such as updated CSS variables or ARIA attributes. Zeplin also generates an accessibility checklist tied to each export so reviewers can sign off on compliance requirements.
The company positioned the on-device approach as a privacy-forward alternative for regulated industries, and early users reported fewer accessibility regressions reaching QA. Zeplin is offering the feature as part of its enterprise tier with administrative controls and audit logs.
