Zeroheight launches accessibility audit plugins that auto-create remediations and handoff tasks

The audit plugin integrates with Figma, Storybook, and design tokens to identify issues like color contrast, missing semantics, and focus order problems. Each finding comes with a contextual explanation, suggested fixes, and an auto-generated task that links to the offending component, expected implementation, and acceptance criteria. Teams can export these tasks directly to Jira, Linear, or GitHub Issues.

What sets the update apart is the remediation assistant: when a fix is straightforward — for example, swapping a color token to satisfy contrast ratios — Zeroheight can propose a token change and simulate the corrected UI across components. Designers can preview the change, approve it, and push the update into the shared token repository, minimizing back-and-forth with engineers.

This reduces the manual overhead of accessibility audits and creates a living accessibility culture inside product teams. That said, complex accessibility issues still need human review; Zeroheight positions the tool as a way to automate low-hanging fruit and generate tracked work for higher-effort remediations, improving traceability across sprints.
